Pulse Volume Recording
A PVR study is a noninvasive vascular test in which blood pressure cuffs are used to obtain information about arterial blood flow in the arms and legs. The blood pressure cuffs are used to determine the presence, severity and general location of peripheral arterial disease.
This test may also be used as a follow-up to see if medical treatment or an exercise program is working, it may also be used as follow-up to angioplasty or surgery.
