Robert Varani founded Ocean Empire Diagnostic and Monitoring Group (OEDMG) in 2001 and over the past several years has strived to create and provide medical products and services to physicians and patients. The company has emerged from solely providing small monitoring services to a diverse expansion of multi-service diagnostic testing. Robert found it most beneficial to accommodate all medical facilities by offering cardiac event monitoring and mobile diagnostic services.

Robert determined that by offering a diverse category of services to medical offices, subsequently has increased satisfaction with both physicians and patients. Having designed and implemented these various services, Robert also introduced a distinct system of convenience, service and accuracy to precisely cater to the needs of our users.

Enrico Varani

Vice President Operations

Enrico Varani was appointed Vice President of Operations promptly after the company was founded. Enrico possesses extensive experience within the sales and marketing field. Enrico's distinguished and successful years spent in these areas, led him to obtain a leadership position to other employees of the company. Enrico has provided management to clinical monitoring operations and has recently undertaken organization of the positions of our technicians.

Kim Benfer

Executive Vice President of Sales

Kimberly Benfer joined OEDMG and with her sharp focus on creativity and cutting edge innovation, she has proven herself to be the best in the industry. Kimberly was appointed Executive Vice President of sales due of her drive and dedication to OEDMG. Kimberly's expertise in the field has helped OEDMG gain many new relations at numerous medical institutions and helped OEDMG become the finest in the industry.

Nancy Mazzarella

Director of Operations

Nancy Mazzarella has demonstrated an experience in several medical settings that correlate to her responsibilities as Director of Operations for OEDMG. Her various duties attribute to the daily efficient operations of OEDMG. Nancy's assignments pertain to numerous company procedures such as information technology, reconciliation and acting liaison with physicians and additional OEDMG team members. Her assistance in day to day operations has a significant impact on effective productivity, deeming her an exceptional member of the staff at OEDMG.

Laura Bevilacqua

Director of Finance and Resource Management

Laura Bevilacqua came to OEDMG with fourteen years of accomplishments attained from her work in the medical field. Her dedication to gain mastery over several fields of the medical industry has increased her diverse comprehension of several specialities. Laura's knowledge can be accredited from her duration working in pharmacy, durable medical equipment, orthotics/prosthetics and also obstetrics and gynecology. In addition to her profound achievements she has fulfilled the role of medical practice manager for seven years and counting. Laura's tactics regarding human resource management, group benefits administration and medical billing has continued to lead OEDMG with great success in concurring a multitude of company ventures.

Megan Bates

Telemetry Department Manager

Megan Bates is a nationally certified EKG technician and brings with her five years of dedicated patient care as well as ten years of management experience in diverse industries. She has incorporated her lengthly experience in the healthcare field through her quality of clinical monitoring operations. Megan's clinical and technical comprehension of cardiac monitoring services directly correlate to success and contentment for our doctors and patients. Megan's attention to detail and creativity have provided new protocols to be established and implemented. Jennifer Peralta

Billing Supervisor

Jennifer manages and maintains revenues by establishing, implementing, and controlling the billing system for OEDMG. She accomplishes billing objectives by reaching performance expectations, recommendations, and contributions towards productivity and quality standards. Her immense years of experience allows her to evaluate and improve methods of departmental objectives. Jennifer's skills of billing, strategic planning and problem solving, not only benefit OEDMG but consistently allows her to provide excellent service to all of our clients.

Fabian Gusman

Ultrasound Operations

Fabian Gusman joined OEDMG, bringing with him over ten years of additional experience within the healthcare industry. Fabian is a certified ultrasound technician, with a focus primarily on general and cardiovascular ultrasounds. Fabian relates his training and expertise to our entire team or technicians.

Paul Varani

NCV Operations

Paul Varani has been involved with OEDMG, after he graduated cum laude from St. Francis College, in Brooklyn Heights. During this time, Paul was studying electro diagnostic testing techniques. Paul has acted as an ultrasound report coordinator, organizing reports and transcriptions, which has led him to be a practicing Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) technician. Paul is certified by Cadwell to conduct this test, and has added pulse volume recording (PVRs) and Vestibular testing (VNG) to his technician specialities.

Kevin Kearns

VNG Controller

Kevin Kearns acts as a medical technician for OEDMG in both NCV and VNG diagnostic testing. He is an active coordinator of various staff teams, which service our physicians in the area. His knowledge of the needs of doctors and patients alike, have proved him to be a valuable asset to the company as a great leader and instructor.
