What to Expect

Not to expose the lead wire and event recorder to water.

Remove the lead wires and recorder while
showering, the electrodes may stay on, replace the
electrodes every other day.
Preparing for the Hookup
-
Do not apply any lotions, body creams and oils to
the chest area where electrodes will be placed.

Wear a loose fitting shirt for easy hookup.
Hookup Procedure
-
Electrodes are placed on the patients chest, with
the wires connecting to a small recorder.

If your skin becomes irritated, or you have a
latex allergy, make sure to alert your physician to
request hypoallergenic patches.

Patient is given enough testing supplies during
their monitoring period.

ECG is transmitted trans-telephonically to head
office for analysis and interpretation of recordings.
After Your Procedure

Several options to return your monitor; a UPS
envelope is provided by the company for direct
delivery, the patient may drop off at doctors office
or company, the staff can pick up the monitor from
the patients home or the patient may return to the
company's home office.

You and your doctor will then determine the
appropriate decisions to make as a follow-up based
upon your results.

recordings to provide prompt preparations of
reports to eliminate any delay for patient treatment.
Our center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week for your assistance.
